WHAT IS THERMAL OXIDATION?Simply explained, thermal oxidation is a process of combustion (burning) which aims to effectively destroy the contaminants present in the exhaust which is coming out of a particular process (for example the emissions of a factory). The chemical process known as oxidation in this particular instance is geared towards reducing pollution. In general, regenerative thermal oxidizers make use of ceramic heat transfer beds to pull through as much energy as possible from the oxidization process.
